mousme... now I'm coming back home
I've been away now, oh how I've been alone.
Wait 'til I've come back to your side
We'll forget the tears we cried.
Hmmm... Odd quote, but it kind of felt right. Had an odd day, I suppose. Nothing bad, but felt a little off–balance.
Work was frustrating. For a big company like BMC, you'd think their computers would crash less often. Or that they wouldn't make silly mistakes with schedules that make their CSSRs have heart attacks over the phone (when they mistakenly told me I wasn't supposed to be working today but yesterday; YIPE!).
Had pleasant dinner with Firewillow. Must go check out other LJ person she told me about, who's a writer. Can't remember her name.
Saw another apartment, which didn't qualify as hole in the ground only because it was clean. It was only slightly larger than my current bedroom, which is eight by ten feet, or thereabouts. Tile floor, stove, and that's it. The guy living there had a futon and a table. No visible signs of living there at all. Suspect he's already moved out.
Played RE for first time (video game, not rpg), and got chomped repeatedly by zombies. Was much fun. Got mauled by Firewillow's big black cat, though in his defense he was only trying to jump to the floor and used my arm as leverage. It's not like I haven't had worse anyway.
Molested Firewillow's cats for a while, played RE, then came home. Maternal Unit in good mood. Found out that mystery caller on cell phone today was Poms, but obviously couldn't call at nearly 11pm. Will call him tomorrow.
Otherwise, Curtana says she's found some apartments that might be of interest. If I can figure out how to get to ipanicked's recital, I'll ask her then.
Will cease now before entry becomes terminally disjointed and dies a horrible dismembered death.
