Still no George. Made a "missing" poster. Tomorrow I'll make copies and post them around the neighbourhood.

Had a really vivid dream that I found him in the garden under one of the chairs of my patio set. It was odd, because normally in my dreams the locales don't resemble real life at all, but this time it was a carbon copy of my garden. I remember talking to George the way I talk to him when I'm awake, and picking him up in my arms, and I could feel his fur under my fingers and feel his weight in my arms. It was so vivid, in fact, that when I woke up I thought for a minute that it really had happened.

Anyway, it was odd.

Oh, honey. You and George have been on my mind. Sometimes it takes a while for kitties to come home. *hugs*

:/

Have you tried calling shelters already? He may have been picked up and is just waiting for you to bring him home. That happened with my Smudge, once.

*hugs*

He has a collar with ID and my vet's phone number on it. I'll be calling shelters just in case, but in theory they should easily be able to get in touch with me if he's found and taken in.

My Smudge also had a collar with ID on it but the shelter workers couldn't get at it to read it! She did NOT like it there... Mind you, her ID at the time was one of those little metal canisters with paper rolled up in it. A good argument for a more conventional tag that a shelter worker could read through the bars of a kennel.

There's also the possibility (however slim) that he could have slipped/snapped his collar... :/

Oh George, you're such a trial to your momma.

Catsarah is taking care of an outdoor cat and he disappeared for nearly a week earlier in the month. I blame spring, it puts weird thoughts in their heads!

I'm thinking of you and George. I know I get anxious if any of my tribe miss a meal. :(

I can't even begin to imagine how worried you are. Thinking of you.
