So this is what I've been up to

The sad part is, the minute I saw the nationality of the people we were arresting, I *knew* that there would be references to "terrorism," even though that has nothing to do with the ongoing operation.

We busted a big ol' forgery ring! It was awesome.

It's been a rock 'n' roll couple of days. I was up this morning at 03:00, was at work for 04:20, and worked until 20:00, non-stop, with three five-minute pee breaks during the day. Go-go-go.

I am wiped.

I am also crashing in a major way. After not sleeping well (I kept awakening every hour and a half or so) and funneling all my energy into the operation, all I want to do now is crawl into a hole and die.


That being said, today is one of those days when I remember why my job rocks.

I was pretty much in the thick of it, as I was the main operational support, but I was being backed up by seven other operators and a supervisor. It was a freaking colossal effort.

We were like a well-oiled machine. I am very proud of how things went.
