And here we go
Nov. 5th, 2009 10:49 amIt's not quite a Class 3 zombie outbreak, but we have two members of the OCC down for the count, one with a confirmed case of H1N1, the other with a suspected case, and definitely some kind of flu.
Bizarrely, I am still unfussed, although we are quite short-staffed at the moment. I still think this is all being blown way out of proportion to its merits.
In the meantime, the office REEKS of Lysol and is giving me a serious chemical-induced headache.

Date: 2009-11-05 04:28 pm (UTC)The thing is that when you think of the logistics involved in this sort of campaign, I'd say the authorities are probably doing fairly well. The unrehearsed herding of millions of
catshuman beings into immunization clinics is bound to suffer from friction. That being said, as a Max Brooks fan I'm just glad they didn't name the vaccine Phalanx.

Usually, I'm in the first wave, but we're just too short of vaccine at this point.
And usually, they insist on shooting Savant as well because he lives with me and goes to the Germ Factory at least once a week, but not this year.
We've both had our standard seasonal flu shots already, though.
