My work is cutting off a huge part of our internet access starting October 1st. Likely I won't be able to see LJ at all anymore, or any of my favourite blogs.
WOE!
Yes, I know. I'm supposed to work while I'm at work, but since a lot of it is "hurry up and wait" work, I really relied on the internet for my sanity.
*sigh*
I will live, but it just won't be the same.

Date: 2009-09-28 10:53 pm (UTC)Seriously, how is the Blackberry on the internet more of a breach of security than the regular internet? (The reasoning for our rules is because of viruses and too much distraction. Not that they're ever consistent about that stuff. We aren't allowed to bring in portable DVD players to watch movies, but we can watch the televisions that they provide. I rarely do, because I really do get very distracted by the television.)

Date: 2009-09-28 10:51 pm (UTC)I will pop on the internet to look things up, but really don't use it to pass the time. I use magazines, puzzles, and books for that. Besides, I really don't want my work to know I have an LJ.
