ARGH! New knitting woes (that didn't take long)

I have *two* sets of interchangeable circular needles. Two sets. Neither set has the size of needle I need to knit my Christmas shawl.

3mm. The smallest I have is 3.5mm.

*sigh*

I just tried starting a swatch with 3.5 since I tend to knit tightly anyway, and this is going to be a hell of a fiddly project. I am going to head to Ariadne on Tuesday (since self-respecting knitting shops aren't open on Mondays) to see if they have any in store.

Aaah. Yes. I think the smallest harmony interchangeable size is actually the 3.5. *checks* Yep. Anything else you have to get in the fixed length. Bah.

It's one of the "joys" of needlecraft. Continuously buying more needles or hooks or whatever. Eventually, you will have an amazing collection.

i have 2 sets of that size for some bizarre reason. they're not fancy but if you don't want to spend the money, i'll put them in the post for you. i really only need one, i think i probably just bought them not knowing i already had a set.
