So much to write about
Aug. 12th, 2009 12:08 amUnfortunately, the Scots are still here, so no updates for now. I'm having a great time, though, and I'll miss them terribly when they're gone.
I made them their first lobster ever tonight, in a court-bouillon. Very successful lobster, if I do say so myself. Then we had pastries from Le Pain Doré, and tea, and watched three episodes of "Escape to River Cottage" which they thoughtfully burned for me and brought over from the UK.
Life is awesome, and now I must go collapse into bed.

I'm also reminded of the two Yanks who had visited Glasgow and were told by a sweet old granny, "You dinna wanna go down there. They'll git ya."
