I don't know how I managed it, but I knitted half a row backward.

I am NOT enjoying this particular learning curve. Not at all.

:::ETA::

Oh, God. I think I borked it four rows back.

*weeps more*

I'm going to leave it as is, and hope for the best.

Now I'm imagining the muppet knitting...

Bork, bork...

I LOVE my scarf.

I'm *very* glad you like it. It is a source of comfort to know that my other projects were a success, in these dark times of having to rip apart baby blankets. :P

This sounds remarkably like the time I mistook the 2.8 cc powder dipper for the 3.1 cc dipper and accidentally created 100 underpow.., er, managed recoil rounds of .308. Luckily, they still cycle in the -14's, so I didn't have to yoink the bullets, dump the powder, manually chamber and fire each round, deprime the lot, and start from scratch.

Does repeating a mistake make it part of the pattern?

Only if you can manage to replicate the error precisely and in a way that doesn't further bork the pattern. This is more difficult than frogging and starting over, trust me. :P

Argh so frustrating. :(

This is why I usually have 2 things on the go at once... If I get tired or sick of one I can switch to the other. I guess with baby stuff there's sort of a deadline though. :(
