This is why Phnee shouldn't ever be allowed onto MLS listings unsupervised.

Pretty house. Pretty pretty house... *sigh*

YAY COMMUNE!

Come move to Canada. We have socialized medicine and better weather! ;)

I have many reasons I'd like to move to Canada, but honey, the weather is so not one of them :)

LOL

What, don't you like wading through seven metric tons of snow every day? ;)

Yeah, I'm with Cronopio on this one: I want your house, your company, and your medical system, but that weather....noooooooo.

That *is* a pretty house. But the commute to downtown T.O. would be hell for me ;)

Fireplace, orchard, and the feature anyone with kids can appreciate, a mud room!

The commute is pretty much acceptable for me: about an hour out of Montreal, and with the really weird hours I work, it would mean that I avoid most of the rush hour traffic.

*siiiiiigh*

Too bad I don't have the wherewithal to purchase the stupid thing. Also, I have no car, which also makes the commute problematic. :P

What?! No public transport in North Lancaster?

Not that I can tell. Closest would be the train station in Rigaud. You need a car to get around at least locally.

Not to burst any bubble but that train only has two runs out in the morning and two runs in the evening, you would need to get closer in to cummute I think Beaconsfield has a more regular schedule, but no nights and it ends late evening....I was also looking on MLS today...and when reality hit I realized that I'm stuck in the city until retirement due mainly to commute and convenience...major suckage.

Someday, your finances and your dream house will line up. It'll happen. <3!

It's really, really nice. A commune would be a good idea, and you could squeeze in enough funds for a little car with the mortgage......

Oh, me too, me too! I used to dream of a house like that. In fact, I grew up on a small version, now an historic site: Schuette House (neither of the other buildings was present at the original site. The house was moved to this museum campus.)

Phnee, I love that house for you but even if you could afford to buy it, how could you afford to keep it maintained?

*sigh*

I used to dream of buying my great-aunts lake house as a summer retreat. Then she went and sold it to Shania Twain, who tore it down to build something bigger. :-(
