The Overtime Fairy Strikes Back

So Excitable!Puppy is sick today, which means I have to cover for him until such time as a replacement can be found.

So far the potential replacements are 0 for 5. It's not looking good... I can't stay here all day, though, as I have another 12-hour shift starting tonight. I can't physically manage 32 hours straight, it would kill me. Not to mention that I have to feed the cats at some point in all this.

Good lord! There has to be some kind of procedure in place for when this happens, isn't there? If you have to stay through today, do they bring someone in to fill your night slot?
