mousmeSo I finally caved and started watching Lost. Made it through the first season, and was impressed and curious enough to keep watching, although I wasn't thoroughly hooked.
I finished the second season last night, and now I'm toast. Absolute freaking toast. I want to go out RIGHTNOW and get the third season and find out what happens AAAH!
I wasn't expecting much, to be honest. Most TV shows these days tend to be pretty run-of-the mill when it comes to plot and writing. The plot of Lost was consistently good, and I enjoyed the characterization a great deal. The writing was okay, but not brilliant. This changed in Season 2, and for the better. The writing got really solid, the plot got more intricate, and I was impressed with some of the risks the show was willing to take.
I'm hoping they don't blow it in future seasons...
