I have figured out one of the reasons for my discontent these days. Apart from being overworked and overtired and underslept, and apart from getting annoying financial news, I am actually pining for the outdoors.

I haven't been on a proper tramp through the woods in... well, many many months.

I'm going to have to figure out a way to fix this, and soon.

I'm right there with you. Deer season, for me, runs from mid-October (bow season) through mid-December (gun and muzzleloader). I spend 5-7 days a week in the woods, usually 3-5 hours at a clip, for two months of the year. Then it .... just stops. Cold turkey. Yes, there are other animals in season, but I don't get out nearly as much.

Need to do that again soon.

Never thought I'd say this but I am there with you.

I am not an outdoorsman in any way shape or form, but I crave sunlight and grass and a (slightly) warm(ish) breeze.
