This whole working all the time thing is seriously getting old. Getting out of bed this morning was a heck of a struggle. I have a party to go to tonight, and I want to go, but I also don't feel like it. I know I'll have fun when I get there and that I'll regret not going, but I would very much like to go directly to bed.

Meh.

I'm going to ask for some time off in February. No idea if I'll get it, but it's worth a shot.

No no no. I want to come, I've been looking forward to this ever since I got the invitation. I miss my friends. :)

If they won't give you time off, get a note from your doctor telling them that you will be too exhausted to work otherwise. They have to be able to understand that some time off will take away fewer of your working ours than a collapse from exhaustion.
