Birthday Plans (sort of)

Capricornucopia is around the corner. I think I still have some outstanding invitations to send for that. Oops.

I am considering getting myself a massage-type-thing as a present to myself. I've heard good things about Ovarium, plus they have this neat sensory-deprivation bath thing which sounds really lovely and relaxing. Not sure about this yet, but we'll see.

I'm also thinking about doing something extra for my birthday this year, because it's a Big Number. Maybe I'll do a Hurley's Night. Not sure. I'm open to suggestions. :)

I've done the floats at Ovarium and it's pretty cool except that with ADD it takes the first two thirds of the float before my brain turns off. Also I have a weird internal temperature and I'm always too cold even though the water is warm.

I got bored in the floating baths of the Ovarium. Seriously. I couldn't wait for it to be over, and I hated the pressure of the water in my ears. It's kinda cool to float there, but after a while I just couldn't stand it anymore. Not for everyone. If you do like soaking in a bath for a long time, go right ahead.

That said, if I hadn't done it, I'd still be wondering what it's like. I'm glad I had the experience.

The other services at the Ovarium are apparently just wonderful.

I highly encourage you to treat yourself to a pampering session! I need to book some for myself, since I have gift certificates that are accumulating dust because I didn't have time to use them before, and I'm so looking forward to it.

Sadly no. I have to work the day after the Post-Holidays Lament Feast. Alas! It is to lament. :(
