On the plus side, my LJ is loading like no one's business.
Day was long. Hard to get back into the rhythm of taking calls. After a while I have the impression of answering the same calls over and over again. Same calls, different callers, I suppose. Always the same questions.
Every now and then you get a different one, which is a nice change of pace, I suppose. I do enjoy conference calling. At least then you're talking to someone else who's paid to be cheerful and polite and just on the right side of professional bootlicking.
If I can move I think I'll work on my town, and maybe some more on my character for Curtana's game. I'm hesitating between a few first–level spells. As a first–level character, I can only know two, which I'm finding a little more frustrating than I thought. Oh well, I'll get over it.
Am working overtime tomorrow. Twelve straight hours. Eight in the morning to eight at night. Yech. At least I'll be paid time and a half for it.
Have to write to Poms to figure out where we'll meet Saturday. He suggested somewhere I "feel comfortable" whatever the hell that means. I figure something quiet, probably Café L'Étranger if I can't come up with anything better before then. Quiet is key here, I think.
Wonder if Firewillow'll be around tonight or if she'll have to work. Would suck if she did, although being paid is good.
