Fourteen young women were killed on this date nineteen years ago. They were in the wrong place at the wrong time, and most importantly they were the wrong gender.

I wasn't at that school, but one of my acquaintances was engaged to one of the victims (I didn't want to reopen his wounds by asking which one). I'll never forget - and hope that if Hell exists, Marc Lepine is getting extra torment.
