Flipping my schedule around

mousmeThe Shindig combined with a couple more nights of getting to bed much later than I'm used to has in fact allowed me to get on a sleep schedule that may enable me to not be totally wrecked by being on night shift this week. Maybe only slightly wrecked.
I got up at 10:30 this morning, which put me in mind of my teenage years when I could easily sleep until 13:00 on some Saturdays, much to my parents' consternation. I grew out of that pretty quickly, but for a while there I stopped being a morning person.
I'm back to being a morning person now, except that my work schedule isn't really friendly to any kind of sleep pattern. Even the day shift starts a little too early for my own comfort. Working evenings suits my sleep schedule just fine, but mangles my social life. It's a hard, hard life I lead, lemme tell ya. ;)
Today I have some cleaning to do, and some organizing, and then it's off to work for the next seven days. Whee!
