Things I Should Be Doing And Am Not
Nov. 26th, 2008 04:29 pmApparently I should re-christen November Procrastination Month.
I have a ton of things that I should have done, and which are now unlikely to get done before next week. Next week, in case anyone missed it (and Lord knows I nearly did), is December.
1- Posting to my PBeM. I suck. I have an admin-type email to send, too, and am procrastinating on that because part of me is screaming "Nooooooo!" and the reasonable part of me is telling the unreasonable part of me that I am depriving other people of a valuable slot.
*whiiiine*
2- Writing my thing for Capricornucopia. Did I mention that I suck? 'Cause I do.
3- Writing my serials. I still suck.
4- Writing my novel. Still with the suck.
5- Editing the novel that is already complete. More or less. See above: sucking.
6- Exercizing. Hahahaha it is to laugh. What is this "exercize" of which you speak? I am apparently unfamiliar with the term.
7- Eating healthily. I am doing about 50% okay with this. The main food I eat is healthy. I just need to... not eat nearly as much dessert/unhealthy snack-type food.
8- Getting my errands run. I am not doing this as efficiently as I could, and thus a lot of time is getting wasted, and many of my errands aren't getting done.
*sigh*
So, yeah. I have no excuse, except maybe that I've been working mostly night shift, and that tends to mess me up. I need to get better about this, though, because night shift or no, life needs to go on.

Date: 2008-11-26 09:39 pm (UTC)So next year to claim the title we suggest to just post list after list of things that you know you should do and then write all the stuff that you did instead and then you might MIGHT have a chance.
Sincerely,
The Procrastination Comm...

I understand how you feel. There are many things I set out to do that I have yet to finish but you can only do what you can.

Date: 2008-11-26 09:56 pm (UTC)You know, there's always base staff as an alternative middle step. There's no posting requirements for base staff, you won't be holding up a team when life gets busy, and you can still play the character whenever you feel like bringing him out. I can always make up a project he's desperately needed to lead on base.
Think about it. {{hugs}}
