Is it me, or are the days getting longer?

Days getting longer, nights getting shorter, and yet whenever my front door is involved it seems to be dark out. *sigh*
Work was evil today. Screeching clients from Hell, problems I couldn't solve, and my AHT went down the crapper as a result. Became good friends with Claudel from the Help Desk. Every time I called (and I called a lot: about 10% of my calls required advice) I got him on the line.
Met a real live lumberjack on the phone today. He yelled at me, got a credit and wandered back into the wilderness, I assume. I like the Monty Python lumberjack better.
Incarnate rocked. Shannon is now entirely miserable. Not only does Father Cassidy, the priest who baptised her and gave her her first communion, not want to marry her and Alvin, he brought in Ellen Bojko to tell her how Reincarnation was against God's word. That just destroyed Shannon's whole paradigm of existence. I love it.
Now I can get Stefano to perform the ceremony instead. At least there won't be a mass, as Alvin isn't Catholic. Involving PCs is always a good thing. Think I'll ask Svetlana to be a bridesmaid. That way a maximum number of PCs can be actively involved with the wedding. Don't know how I could involve Nick. Maybe he could be an usher.
Besides, it was cool to have Shannon actually stand up for herself and be cutting and bordering on nasty with Ellen Bojko. That woman really got her goat, and it was nice to have meek little Shannon actually tell her "les quatre verités." I was pleased. Having her sob desperately afterwards was a bonus, too. ;)
Am worried about RDE. Will definitely be ready to offer massive moral support tomorrow if needed. Problems with parental units are nothing new to me, but his seem to be prety special. My parents are no picnic in a different way, but I've seen how their parents treated them, and that's already pretty sick and twisted. But I guess that's what happens when in one case the mother is an alcoholic and the father a violent wife?beater, and in the other case the mother is an alcoholic and the father a distant workaholic. Makes me thankful my parents aren't more screwed up than they are.
Have to go to bed. Promised BB I'd go to room bookings for him tomorrow at eight.
