1- I have caught a cold. I am unimpressed by this turn of events. I have drowned it in liquids, and hope it dies a quick death. I think it may be a similar strain to the one BorderCrossing had a few weeks ago, which means it may stick around longer than I want it.

2- Canada Post is being stupid. Not only are they not forwarding ai731 and the_exclamation's mail to them (I am still receiving it), but they are forwarding my mail to them instead. You know, the mail with their old address on it. This week, ai731 brought me my bus pass *and* a money order from the U.S., which should have been at my place last week.

*snarl*

Tomorrow I shall be heading to my local post office and there will be angry shouting.

3- I found an injured pigeon on the way to work. Being a softie, I found a box in which to put it, and it's currently sheltered against the elements, at least. If it's still there when I leave work today, I shall try to bring it to the SPCA or to a vet in order to have it put out of its misery. I am very unhappy at not being able to help it more, but I can't bring it inside the RCMP, and the local pet store wanted nothing to do with it for health reasons. I get why they refused to help, but I'm still annoyed. Rules are meant to be bent every so often, and they couldn't even make a phone call? Bah.

Have you tried calling the Canada Post 1-800 number? Your local bureau might not be much help, unless it also happens to be where they dispatch mail to your area. I used to work in a small postal outlet. We didn't handle the address changes there; we sent the forms on to the big central office.
