Quickie Sunday update

mousmeBusy day today. Busy weekend, actually. I got up at 08:00 this morning, which felt decadently late and yet wasn't, and puttered around until ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
tcaptain and maya_banana came by to pick me up and take me to brunch. I've been trying to get to one of these mythical brunches since early September, and have never actually managed to go. So today I did, and it was fun.
From brunch, we went to IKEA. We went to the one on the South Shore that I never knew existed, and I got some Christmas decorations (yes, I know, it's early) and that mirror I've been trying to find for a while, as well as another floor lamp for the living room. It's dark out now, so I won't put up the Hallowe'en decorations the way I'd planned, but I shall do that tomorrow after work.
It doesn't sound like much, now that I've written it down, but it still took up most of my day. Now I'm off for a Storytelling event to which I've been invited, which sounds kind of neat.
In random news, celery makes a fantastic snack. I'm sure I'm not telling you anything you didn't know. :)
Also, the weather has improved significantly today, which is cause for rejoicing.
