Con went pretty well all things considered, except BB is apparently super pissed at me for coming late on Saturday, which I've promised to explain in person. Of course, it's not exactly a good excuse to say the Parental Units sent me to the pharmacy at the last minute, but that's pretty much exactly what happened. I can hardly wait to get my own place. Then I won't have to run errands at crucial junctures like that anymore. I hate it when priorities conflict like that. It was either be on time for Con and face a week of resentment and sarcastic comments and long lectures about what I think I'm doing with my life, or be late for Con and have a bit of peace.
Blech.
I *am* sorry BB had such a rotten Con. The plates thing completely escaped me at the last minute (I had thought of it two months ago, but then dismissed it as something which could easily be done later and then forgot), and it sucks that he had to forgo his *only* game to go buy plates and stuff.
I need to buy myself a bullwhip and take it to some people's backsides for not really pulling their weight at all.
On the plus side, everyone pitched in at the end to help clean up, which was really very much appreciated.
Going to crawl back into bed now. Feeling icky.
