Technology fails me...

My Scooba has inexplicably malfunctioned. Spent the better part of 45 minutes on the phone with tech support today, and they couldn't fix it either. They are sending me a replacement part which will get here in two weeks.

I am very sad, and also very behind on my floor washing, as a result.

I don't mean to mock, but I get a bit giggly when thinking about a malfunctioning Scooba. I'm picturing the Cleanliness Robot from Paranoia. Either that, or a Marvin type -- "why bother cleaning, when all you organics are going to just mess it up again."

It would be funnier for me if the thing hadn't malfunctioned after less than ten uses. Ironically, it appears that if you don't use it for a while, it develops problems. :P

I think I'm going to rename my Scooba Marvin: "I have this pain in all the diodes on my left side..."
