Feeling considerably better
Mar. 3rd, 2008 11:50 amNot hungover anymore, which is a Good Thing™. For a mild hangover, it sure decided to stick around for a long time yesterday.
My optometrist has given my eyedrops which are meant to help with the strain I've been putting on my eyes at work. Apparently it's been proven that when you're in front of a screen all day you're disinclined to blink at the appropriate intervals the way you would normally. Given that I spend anywhere from 40 to 70 hours a week in a windowless room staring at anywhere from six to ten screens, it appears that I'm making my poor tear ducts work overtime, since I don't blink enough.
Anyway, the drops are meant to help with the strain-related headaches, not that I've been getting too many of those.
In other news, I have no food left in the house. Well, very little food. I have to go grocery shopping today, but I don't especially feel like it.
