So Phnee is pulling another double-shift tonight. Turns out the girl I usually replace for night shift (I say "usually" because it's been practically every week now) can't come in to work tonight because they've closed the highways due to exceptionally high winds.

So, I'm taking her shift. Thank goodness there's a Tim Horton's across the way. I may try and work tomorrow afternoon as well, thus ensuring a visit from the Overtime Fairy.

On the other hand, I might take the day off and watch a whole ton of Battlestar Galactica. But that would be bad of me. Very bad.

I've almost finished the book I brought with me. Luckily, [livejournal.com profile] toughlovemuse has emailed me some Kelley Armstrong novellas in pdf form to keep me entertained tonight. Whee!

We shall have to get together one morning when no one is suffering from plague. :)

Well, if you're feeling kind of burnt out from doing sdo much overtime, taking tomorrow off wouldn't be bad of you. You need a break every now and then so you don't get angry and frustrated that work is taking over your life. Believe me, I know... -_-

I miss seeing your posts when you go so long between. But I have really been enjoying [livejournal.com profile] fearsclave, so, thanks for the introduction! Try not to burn out. But then again, as they say, "It's better to burn out, than fade away!"

May I just say, having burnt out before, that I heartily disagree with that assessment? :D

But thanks for the good thoughts. I shall try to be back later this week. :)

Shush you. Enjoying a ton of BSG is good for the soul. GOOD I tell you! Argh! :)

Been doing what you describe for the last two weekends.

Yeah, perhaps I should get some chores done. Sigh.

I have to agree with tcaptain here. Nothing wrong with watching BSG. Nothing. It's when you start watching Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, Star trek (All of them) or the fifth and final season of Alias! that you realize you are a TV-show addict. Fortunately for me I haven't discovered 24.

Oh, I forgot to mention Farscape, you have to watch Farscape.

And Serinity. All of the episodes, then the movie, then repeat as often as necessary until you know the dialogue by heart.
