Work has decided in their infinite wisdowm to disallow the internet to everyone who doesn't need it. Needless to say, I fall into that category nicely. I only use the internet for actual work maybe once every two weeks.

*sigh*

I am sad.

This means no more updates from work, no more email (except my work address, which I'll get to in a minute), and most importantly, no more Bluebook posts.

*sigh*

Ironically enough, work has supplied me with an email address, so that I can get more work heaped on me by the managers.

If you really need to get in touch with me during the day, you can now email me at daphne dot brunelle at bnc dot ca. Congratulations, you now know my last name, if that was ever a concern for you. :P

Well, I guess this'll make an honest, if crazy, woman out of me. The internet has been the only thing keeping me sane at work these past few months.

*sigh*

Oh well. Nothing to be done about it. On the plus side, dear flist, at least you won't have to deal with my spam on a continual basis. :)

To console myself, I bought two litres of chocolate milk, and am now making a dent in my bottle of Bailey's.

Boo on fewer Phnee posts :( I like your bitter open letters ;D

But you could, in theory, work on posts for things like bluebook while your're at work and bored, and just actually sent them when you get home :)

Also, I wish I had bailey's and chocolate milk, but I am sadly out of both :p

Yeah, that was my thought. I'll be bringing my laptop to work for when I have time to write on my lunch breaks, anyway. :)

And boo to not having Bailey's. :(

If you have the spare cash, I'd suggest investing in a jump drive/flash drive/memory stick. They're really handy and portable, and a great way to transport and back stuff up the computers you are wring with have usb drives I pretty much just leave mine on my keychain and take it with me everywhere I go D: I do't think the smaller ones are *that* expensive, either. a cursory glance at the future shop web shows that the seem to range from about 30 to 129 for 512 megs to a gig of space.

Wouldn't there be a Mac/PC incompatibility issue?

The only incompatibility issues would come from the programs you are using to write in, ie. what kinds of files the wordprocessors on the different computers have. There shouldn't be any compatibility issues for using the dive in computers that use different OS's. They are just plug and play things :) It is like opening a burned cd, or saving it to a disc, or anything else like that, only tiny, portable, a zillion times more space, and ease of transfer, etc :D They really are great. All you need is a usb port :D

I'm a giant dork and have mirc saved on mine, so that I can use it from anywhere ;) Well, any computer that has a platform mIRC will run from, I suppose :o
