On the other hand, sake is wonderful

Went out last night with the girls of random_colour for sushi. Had a grand old time. Ate far too much sushi, and drank just enough sake to make me happy.

The sushi place was relatively inexpensive, as sushi places go, and the sake was quite good. I shall introduce everyone I know to it now. Muahahahaaaa!

Good food, good conversation, booze. We staggered home via metro afterward. There were presents. ai731 gave everyone a handmade glass ornament. Mine was a Christmas tree! It was very very pretty. I have a thing for trees, as I think everyone knows by now. ;)

She also very sweetly gave me a little notebook to jot down my dreams, a blue shimmery thing with a pagoda on it, and so I started doing that in the metro this morning, although it was exceedingly difficult to write at that hour with people jostling me and the metro stopping and starting all over the place. My handwriting is atrocious as a consequence, but no matter. The important part is to write. :)

Oh, certainly not too misanthropic for established friends. Just not up to making new friends or renewing broken links or links that weren't really there in the first place. :)
