Ever notice how the people who tell you to lighten up and that you can't take a joke are usually people with underdeveloped senses of humour?

Actually, I've seen it more from people who have crossed the line onto someone's personal buttons.

No way they could know beforehand, but they made a mistake. An honest mistake. Adding that line is not the right thing to follow up with, though.
