Nothing new on the Western Front

No, seriously. Nothing is happening in Phnee's world right now. I'm writing a post for Bluebook, 'cause I can't do any filing while L is gone. I have to be here at the desk in case the phone rings. All the managers are gone except for one (they're either on holiday or in various meetings outside the office), and everyone else has gone to lunch.

No one here but us chickens.

Okay, so the phone has been pretty busy, I'll give you that.

Mostly I'm just tired and cranky. What's new, you'll ask? Nothing. I've been tired and cranky for weeks. I'm like a broken record. Bitch bitch bitch, whine whine whine, moan moan moan. :::shrug::: What can you do? I'm going to try to catch a nap on my lunch break.

I'm volunteering at the club tonight. Much as I love the club, I'd rather go home and sleep. Can't do that now. Would be highly unprofessional to fall asleep at my desk. Sleeping receptionists don't make a very good first impression, after all.
