On The Spot

Okay. I'm trying for this Wednesday to go to the Comedyworks and see the "On The Spot" players.

I have a free pass and can take someone with me. Admission is otherwise $7.00

The doors open at eight thirty, show starts at nine and goes for about an hour and a half.

If you do want to come but don't want to come all the way downtown only for the show to be cancelled, you can call 398-9661, which is their number, on the night of the show and find out if there are enough people to make the show go on. Their minimum is thirteen people. You can also make reservations beforehand, which makes it more likely that they'll perform.

There has been talk with sandman7 and miseri to make this a semi-regular thing. Maybe once a month or something.

They are hysterically funny. Occasionally hit-and-miss, but overall consistently funny.

Which Comedyworks? Inna Forum, or is there still something like that in Jimbo's? Or is it the Nouvel Hotel?

Damn, I forget the name of the place. I think it might be Jimbo's. It's on MacKay, IIRC. I'll have to ask sandman7 for exact directions. I just go there on autopilot. ^^;

This particular week is not so hot as there is a friend's birthday taking place around the middle of the week, unfortunately.
