Minor ramble before hitting the hay
Nov. 12th, 2004 11:04 pmI think that having a nine-to-five job is not especially conducive to being evil. The job sucks up a lot of energy, and a lot of brain power that could be productively spent in thinking up new ways to inflict terror and awe-inspiring evil genius upon the world.
That being said, I'm rather enjoying the feeling of not starving and being (sort of) able to cover all my bills.
Right now, though, my feelings of utter tiredness are in direct conflict with my desire to go to the nearest babygoth club (you know, where all the sixteen-year-olds trying to look twenty-six hang out wearing black makeup and very revealing black clothes) and open fire with a fully-loaded paintball marker, just to see what would happen.
I'm assuming pandemonium, shortly followed by my very hasty removal from the club, either under my own power, or tossed out on my ear by a bouncer. But I'd like to think that the bouncers would let me in, at least, if only to pander to their own sense of Schadenfreude.
In other news, brunch will be early tomorrow.
In still another different set of news, I am thinking of saving up and getting a tattoo. I'm not exactly sure what the design would be yet, but since I've had that thought knocking about in my head for several years now, I'm thinking it might not be a bad idea.
What has prompted this latest revisiting of the tattoo subject? Well, this post. So, yes, the tattoo would be indirectly linked to that.
Incidentally,
msscribe is well worth putting on your flist, if she isn't there already. She's witty, incisive and a hardcore mommy all-around.

Date: 2004-11-13 03:32 am (UTC)Also: Love the paintballing plan. ;}
My first year in college, I would go driving with my math tutor and friends, down behind the local mall, where teenagers would hang out in our small college town. They'd stand there smoking and trying to look tough.
We'd breeze by, and B., my math tutor, had rigged his windshielf wiper fluid squirter thingie to squirt sidways...we'd cruise past and squirt the hell out of them while they scrambled wildly.

Date: 2004-11-13 12:41 pm (UTC)From what I remember of my only experience with a paintball marker, the cops would be called in because it can be mistaken as a dangerous weapon, at which point it would all go much further downhill from there.
Tattoo-wise, I wouldn't know. One friend I know decided to wait a year after settling on all the details to make really sure that they wanted it. I'm not sure I follow how it relates to the post though... would it be a rainbow or something of that nature?
paintball and tattooes
Date: 2004-11-15 09:21 am (UTC)as for tattooes, I've got two, and I'm on my way to a third very very soon. they'll be in a triangle on my lower back. The top corner is the only one I'm missing, and will be a points-up crescent. The other two are a stylized sun, and a triskele.
