So here's the plan

Me, fifteen thousand dollars a year, a cabin in the woods, and the internet.

No telephones, no doorbell. Especially no doorbell.

I'd need a lake nearby to swim in, and possibly one of those ecologically-fuelled vehicles to get to a nearby town to get supplies, because I would starve to death otherwise. I'm not exactly Survival!Girl, here.

It's either that, or a rubber room.

Don't know where I'd get the fifteen thousand dollars a year from, though. That's the poser.

I need to introduce you to Jacqueline, who's been working as a park ranger in Alaska for a while now. She doesn't exactly live that way, but I gather that the lifestyle is fairly close.
