I rather like this icon
May. 11th, 2004 01:02 amI need to make myself an icon for my wacked-out, really stressed days. Not that today was one of them, but still...
I love
griffen's icon for that:

I saw a not-too-bad Disney adaptation of A Wrinkle In Time. Unfortunately they chose to make Camazotz look *evil* instead of, well, like a sort of soulless suburbia, the way it was described in the book. It was dark and scary and recognisably bad and wrong, whereas it should have looked harmless, which is the pitfall. I guess Disney wanted there to be no confusion in the minds of the little children of the world: Large Corporations = Good. :P
Poor Madeleine L'Engle, to have her work thus corrupted.
I should go to bed.
