Got a call back from the person with whom I left a message. I have to get my car checked, you see. Fifteen-point inspection and all that.

She was so rude with me it was unbelievable! Then she hung up on me while I was still talking.

See, this is why I don't like phones.

... and that's why "hating telephones" is on my Interests List. I sometimes wish all remote communication could be achieved via email. Yes, it's less convenient. And, yes, one may miss the "inflection" of oral conversation. But at least, with email, one can say what one wants to say without being interrupted or having the conversation's trajectory hijacked. Harumph.

Suggestion though - contact her supervisor or the representative who sold you the car (am assuming you called the dealership) and lodge a complaint about her... you are a customer. They actually do owe you curteous service.

I did call back and finish what I had to say, and she was slightly more polite about it the second time around. Phone people are always rushed.

I don't know who her supervisor is, but when I go on Thursday and speak to the guy in charge, Yvon something-or-other, you can be sure I'll be lodging a complaint. I'm much better when I do these things in person anyway.

Talking to guy in charge v. good. Especially if you're very polite and understanding when you let them know that treating you badly on the phone ain't cool. ;p
