Mother's Day stuff

Well, Mother's Day was, on the whole, uneventful.

Got my mother some cyclamens, her favourite flower, and we had breakfast together, which was nice.

Got home mostly in time for perseity, and had a rocking good time playing both nebula_ and margotv. Margot got to meet her father for the first time, but unfortunately since she mostly doesn't trust men and her mother is the center of her universe, that didn't go very well. The *player* was dying to have him stay and explain everything, and Margot herself is still curious about him, and if it had been anyone else she would have gone with him and not told a soul. But someone who fucked around with her mother's head was not about to gain her trust, especially not after following her on the street.

*sigh*

It's too bad.

I need to write up journal entries for Margot, Nebula and Hermenegildus. So much is happening! This game just gets better all the time.

Anyway, moving back to reality, after Perseity I was off to Movie Night with Prospero's Daughter and Mind_Mistress, to whom Prospero's Daughter introduced me a few weeks ago, and who is the coolest thing since sliced bread. You will likely be hearing a lot more about her in this LJ. She doesn't have an LJ, sadly, and I'm not sure I'll be able to convert her.

In my haste to get to Movie Night, I tripped over my new ethernet cable and went sprawling in an ungainly heap facefirst on the floor. It was not a pretty sight. It was really funny afterward, though. Everyone say it together: Phnee is a clutz.

We went to Provigo for food (after about twenty minutes of indecision: it's good to know that some things don't change, even though the people at Movie Night are somewhat different), and watched Donnie Darko, which is even better the second time around, when you actually know what's going on.

All in all, fun was had.
