Ack! Kay! Help!
Aug. 5th, 2003 08:21 pmI know what the words mean, but I can't make this sentence make sense:
"Indeed, the implicit corollary of professional was apolitical."
F*cked if I know what it means. *beats head on desk* To me it looks like it's missing a word, but I could be wrong.
Kay? Anyone? Help?
In other news, this post is a palindrome. :) I like palindromes. They're fun.

Date: 2003-08-05 06:42 pm (UTC)OK, I'd render it thus:
"There was, indeed, an assumption that professional behaviour was also necessarily apolitical behaviour."
Or:
"There was, indeed, an assumption that it was not possible to be a political creature if one wished to be seen as a professional."
