I wonder if the mood shouldn't read "nauseous" and not "nauseated." But maybe I'm nitpicking.
Will do proper update in a bit, when my body is no longer revolting against me.
Not sure if it's due to missing my meds for two days or simply food poisoning, but at 6:30 (well, it started around 5:45 or so) my body decided that, what the hell, it didn't really need that lunch anyway, and proceeded to expell it with an impressive amount of force.
Luckily I had just finished work.
I wonder if it's a contagious thing via LJ. Reading my friends list today I have made the following observations:
- 4 of my friends have thrown out or otherwise harmed their backs
- 3 of them have either vomited or suffered from nausea
- 3 friends have injured their leg and/or are suffering from foot or leg pain
- 5 friends have headaches
- 6 friends are sick with other things that don't fall into those categories
That's a lot of badness, folks! What is it with us today?

nau·seous
adj.
1. Causing nausea; sickening: “the most nauseous offal fit for the gods” (John Fowles).
2. Usage Problem. Affected with nausea. Traditional critics have insisted that nauseous is properly used only to mean “causing nausea” and that it is incorrect to use it to mean “affected with nausea,” as in Roller coasters make me nauseous.
versus
nauseated
adj : feeling nausea; feeling about to vomit
So I think LJ has it right. Call the newspapers.
