Well la-di-da!
Feb. 2nd, 2003 10:53 am*facepalm*
Did I mention my January sucked big rocks through bendy straws, as Griff would say?
Well, my landlord just made February start out on a truly lovely note. He appears at my door at 10am this morning (any time before noon on a Sunday is NOT a decent time to come a-calling) and proceeds to dump nine months' worth of electricity bills in my lap. $237.28, to be precise.
He was supposed to have everything transfered into my name in May 2002, but just never bothered, and didn't bother to tell me about it either. So now the bills are in his name, but *I* owe the money. I'm so mad at him I could spit.
Well, if Hydro Québec was able to wait eight months for payment, they can wait another two weeks until I get my next paycheque. Bugger.
