News from the phone lines
Jan. 31st, 2003 06:22 pmAll is not quite that quiet on the Eastern front, but there's no mad panic either.
I am getting seriously fed up with myself. I've been cycling like a rollercoaster on acid for the past month, and it's really starting to take its toll.
I was fine earlier today, and now I've crashed harder than Launchpad McQuack (if you've never seen Darkwing Duck, then all I can say is "Shame on you!"). In fact, in the time it's taken me to write this post (between answering two calls), I've gone up and down like a freaking yo-yo on speed.
I'm so frustrated I could scream, and it's all I can do to pretend to be cheerful with the damned clients on the lines. Half of them aren't even calling the right department, and that department is closed until 9am Monday morning.
I am holding onto my patience with both hands. I really, really understand now why people "go postal" when they work in cubicle-riddled offices like this. It's enough to turn anyone into a bloody homicidal maniac.
:::edit:::
It's got me so upset I'm making spelling mistakes like they're going out of style, and they're not even typos. *facedesk*

Date: 2003-01-31 04:39 pm (UTC)Have you contacted your doctor about this sudden change in your moods? It might be a good idea, if you haven't yet.
Hugs if you want 'em!

Date: 2003-01-31 08:08 pm (UTC)I'll shut up now. ^_^;;
In any case, going to see the doctor about this is a good idea. Getting a better job is too, and I really hope possibilities open up for you really soon!
- Karine, hugs too
