Actually slept reasonably well last night, and am going to attempt to go to bed at a reasonable hour each night. Easier said than done, knowing me, but a girl can hope, right?
Will be finding out today if I'm still suspended from work on Wednesday (oh, woe is me! *backofhandtoforehead*), in which case I get to play in![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
curtana's D&D game. w00t! Otherwise I get to be a good little corporate drone and work all day.
There *are* upsides to this working the late shift business: I don't have to get up as early, I can actually go to places that are only open during banking hours (like banks), and I can have breakfast with my parents if I want. I'm also never late for work. I am a fan of leisurely mornings.
On the down side, it means I have no social life except on weekends, and I have to learn the parking signs out front my heart unless I want to pay $42 a day in parking tickets. It also means I can't really sleep in except on Monday and Thursday mornings, because of the aforementioned parking rules, and that's only if I've parked on the "good" side of the street. *sigh*
Still, it's a welcome break from having to sprint out the door like a thing possessed in order to be at work on time. In fact, if I didn't have something like two regular games (and one irregular one) to worry about, I'd probably opt for an evening shift until I find a job I like better, if only because I wouldn't constantly have to worry about being sacked for being two minutes late one morning.
Actually, I might do that next time around, but instead of taking the weekend off I'd take Sunday and another day in the week off. That would probably be useful. Meh. That's not for another month anyway. I'll cross that bridge when and if I come to it.
Must now run like a thing possessed to get ahold of those medical reports from my doctor to make sure that I'm not sacked for an "unjustified" absence from work. Feh.
