Went out for all of three hours today, and am totally, utterly knackered. Probably a lot to do with it being "that time of the month," or whatever euphemism you prefer. Yay. Maybe that's why I've been feeling so "enh" lately. Stupid hormones.

Didn't get as much cleaning done yesterday as I'd have liked, and I don't think I'll have the energy today to do much. I did buy that new cat litter I wanted, though, so I'll be trying it out later in the cats' boxes. It was flippin' expensive though, so it had better be as good as they claim it is.

The cats are sleeping, and are being unspeakably cute about it. Pan-Pan's breathing whistles a bit when he sleeps... okay, this is getting creepy. Every time I write about Pan-Pan on the computer (either LJ or Y!M or what have you) he kind of seems to know. He either looks at me or jumps up onto the chair to look over my shoulder. Weird. O_o

George, on the other hand, is snoozing quietly and looks like he wouldn't twitch if a bomb went off under him.

I went food shopping, and actually bought real food for once. Chicken and hamburger and stuff. No KD, [livejournal.com profile] firewillow will be pleased to note, but that's only because they were out at the store. ^_-

My plans for the evening are to finish doing the dishes, maybe take a bath, and read through my activation script for work a few times, because I'll be doing activations for the next two weeks. I keep trying to tell myself that it'll be better than customer service, but I can't really seem to work up any enthusiasm over this, probably because it still means I'll be working every single day of the week except Christmas Day.

It also means I'll be missing Boxing Day at Lac Laroche, my godparents' country house (a different set of godparents). This has been an annual tradition all my life, and this is only the third time in 23 years I won't have gone. The other two times were because either my godparents were off on a trip, or I and my parents were off on a trip. Instead I'll be working at activating new cell phones. Bah, humbug.

The worst part is that I don't really remember that much about our activation training session, which is why I have to review my script really well. I'll probably also have to go in really early tomorrow in order to make sure I know all the right applications and what have you. I also have no idea what my stats are supposed to look like for activations. I'm really quite at a loss here. I'm not anxious per se, but it is a vague annoyance lingering at the back of my mind.

I should also post to [livejournal.com profile] reparo. Been neglecting that of late...

The cats are not what they seem

What you have written about your cats reminds me of an incident some years back. A friend was over and sitting on a couch reading. One of our cats was laying on the back of the couch looking over his shoulder at what Charles was reading. Charles suddenly noticed this and said nervously 'I swear your cat is reading'. At this point the cat swung his head away to look straight ahead.
The friend was totall creeped out.

I knew it!

The cats are plotting to take over the world. They're even developing an opposable thumb. Just ask [livejournal.com profile] firewillow about her mutant cat that tries to write and roll dice.
