Whee! Updating is fun!

Yeah. So my cats broke another plate. *sigh* I like those plates. I hope I have some left by the time this is over. :P
Ah well.
Am rushing like mad at work so as not to get myself fired —sorry, let go—, and am fairly sure that I can kiss my Christmas bonus goodbye. Which sucks 'cause I was hoping to get rid of my credit card debt with it. Well, my father has said that he would help me with that as a Christmas present (he asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I said I wanted my credit card cleared off, which he can't do, but he can help), so maybe it's not all bad.
Still, getting a $500 bill from my insurance company they claim I didn't pay four months ago was not a nice surprise. I'll have to call them and see what they've been smoking lately. It also means that for the moment *gulp* I'm driving with no insurance. O_O Not a comforting thought if I get hit by another car or something.

Anyway, day at work went well. Ordered two phones for clients, dealt with really, really dumb client who insisted she wanted her phone free and didn't care about paying for her rate plan, in spite of my explaining to her in lurid detail that she would be saving money with our new promotion by paying for the phone and getting the rate plan free for the first three months. Whatever. *rolls eyes*
Dinner with Paternal Unit went really well. I think he's been lonely without my mother. At least he said that he missed her while looking down at the carcass of the half chicken from St. Hubert he'd just polished off, which was a testament to her cooking for one, and kind of sad too. I think he's not used to not having her at home, even when he's not around.
We had St. Hubert chicken and chocolate ice cream, and he even bought me orange juice. We're going to the movies on Saturday. Apparently there's a possibility my mother might not be home until the 23rd or possibly even after Christmas, so it might just be the two of us this year.
Wah! *wibble* I have no idea how I'm going to pay all this crap that just landed on my doorstep...
Anyway, I'm sure I'll find a way. I just have to make sure to actually *deal* with it and not ignore it the way I ignored everything else going to hell last year. Posting it publicly will likely motivate me to get off my ass and deal, because if not I'll be evicted and my car repossessed and my cats and I will be left homeless and possibly foodless, which would suck.
