Pan-Pan, in an excessive display of affection, just climbed over me, knocked over my laptop and stepped on the TV remote control, thus wrecking the episode of Lost I was watching.

The computer is fine, the DVD is now reset, but COME ON!

It occurs to me that I haven't actually posted any real content here for a while. It's been all work-garden-work-work-whatever DVD I'm watching-work-work-work and three-line entries. It seems to me that back in the day I used to write about more important things, or at least that I used to do a fair bit more thinking. Maybe my brain is atrophying, or channeling all its energy into stuff that isn't LJ.

Anyway, I can't exactly apologize for that, but I do regret not being a more interesting blogger/poster/whatever.

I'm not sure I even have the mental energy to post proper content with critical thought. I think my poor reading public will have to put up with the same sort of blather that I've been putting out here for months.

So today I overslept, which is starting to get to be a habit. Whenever I get the time in the morning, there's a big part of me that refuses to be dragged out of bed until I awaken naturally.

So now I have to get dressed and get back out in the garden. [livejournal.com profile] moonandtree mentioned that he came by yesterday, but I don't think he actually got any digging done, so today's plan is going to be digging up the side beds.

I am stupidly tired this morning. Inertia is a difficult thing to overcome, apparently.

Also, Lost is getting increasingly confusing, and there are things which not only make no sense, but appear to directly contradict other stuff that's happened in the show.

I really want to go back to bed. I am ridiculously tired.

Today has consisted of a beautiful spring day. The Brandywines are wilting, perhaps due to overnight frost, which is making me very sad. I slept well and long enough that I'm not stupidly tired anymore, and I had a nice breakfast of coffee and cereal with a banana.

Spent a chunk of the morning gardening first by myself and then with [livejournal.com profile] moonandtree and we ironed out some of the plans for the garden, and planted cucumber, onions, garlic, parsley and tarragon. I need to buy a hose for the garden. We also cut back the rose bushes, which according to [livejournal.com profile] moonandtree are behaving atypically for rose bushes.

I made lunch, and prepared to go to work. Then I stepped in grass-riddled cat puke which someone (*cough*Gretzky*cough*) thoughtfully left at the foot of my bed. I ranted at the cats for about five minutes, along the lines of "Why must my life necessarily involve stealth puke? WHY?"

I changed my socks, made it to the bus in time, and arrived in time to be told that one of the members had made a complaint about me yesterday, claiming I was impolite with her. See, apparently "impolite" now means "didn't give the answer I wanted to hear." Luckily my supervisor listened to the call and determined that she was on crack, and apparently told her so in no uncertain terms. Yay for having good bosses! :)

So today has been a mixed bag. Overall I am in a good mood, though, so I'm chalking it up as a win.
