Slow-motion

I should be out of here already. I really want to spend the morning doing nothing, except I have to go get groceries. Meh.

This afternoon I'm going in for more overtime. On the plus side, at least I don't have to be at work this morning: my supervisor gave me half a day instead of a full day, which means that even though this is my 15th consecutive day of work, it's not going to be a full twelve hours. Umm, yay? Sixteen consecutive shifts is the maximum number we're legally allowed to do (not that that prevented me from working 22 consecutive shifts in December, many of them twelve and sixteen-hour shifts, but whatever).

I get tomorrow off, and then I'm heading back into work on Monday for evening shift. moonandtree may be coming by to get some work done in the garden.

I am tired. This is not altogether surprising. I should post about the lovely dinner I had with the parental units on Thursday. I may do that later today. Now I have to summon the energy to go buy groceries. I am already running late. :P

How have I managed to get this far in life without having anything by Bob Marley in my music collection?

I may have to fix this when the Overtime Fairy gives me money.

Maybe if I write it down I'll actually get it done

Things to do this weekend:

1- Go to Atwater Market for seedlings/seeds.

2- Finish turning the soil in the garden.

3- Weed the garden

4- Plant seedlings in the garden

5- Frog the damned baby blanket and start over

6- Make lunches/dinner for the week (I forgot snow peas. Gnarr!)

7- Maybe bake some bread. I haven't had homemade bread in a while.

Seven years' bad luck

The cats just knocked down a full-length mirror and shattered it.

*sigh*

Is the bad luck theirs, or does it transfer to me automatically, I wonder? :P
