The best-laid plans...

So the cleaning lady who was supposed to come by today turned out to be deathly allergic to cats, and ended up not coming inside at all. I *did* mention it to the guy on the phone when I called, and he assured me that multiple cats wouldn't be a problem. Hah.

So instead I made gazpacho, which is more time-consuming than I remember it being, and while I forgot to get fresh dill and I somehow managed to not have any cayenne pepper on hand, it's still quite tasty. I replaced the dill with parsley and simply did without the cayenne.

I also got caught up on Skywatch, which I'd sorely neglected of late. Yay momentum!

I got a fair bit of cleaning stuff done, all in all. Laundry and dishes and sweeping and stuff. So, the morning was well-spent.

Had a lovely time with Arthur and curtana yesterday. I took Arthur to the park, and he showed me that to "play inna fountain" is a far superior passtime to actually playing with any of the playground equipment. That, and pushing dandelions through a chain link fence. Fun times. :) I'm amused because he pronounces dandelions "da-daddy-lions." It's super cute.

Now what I really want is a nap. I've been up since before 6am, and that makes for a very tired Phnee.
