Merry Christmas!

My best wishes go out to all of you. For those of you who are having happy Christmases (or insert other festivity of your choice that goes on at this time of year, I'm just using Christmas as a catch-all 'cause it happens to be the one I celebrate), may all your future holidays be as happy, if not moreso.

For those of you for whom the season is turning out crapptacular, my thoughts are with you on this day. I hope that some things will happen today to remind you of the good in the world, and that things will get steadily better from now on.

You're all incredibly special to me, and I wish for nothing but the best for all of you. :)

The day, not the game, although I'm sure that has lessons to impart, too.

Sudden pangs of jealousy aren't bad. It's what you do with them that counts.

It is jealousy, right? When you feel that small pain in your chest, your throat constricts, and you find yourself thinking: "God, I wish I could have that, even if it's just for a little while."

I'm off to Christmas with my family. I am going to have a good day. The pang lasted all of thirty seconds, FYI. I was just reminded of it now.
