Another day, another dollar
Jun. 11th, 2002 09:52 pmHave noticed tendency to write telegraphically in LJ lately. Am not displeased with results. Will likely continue this way.
Everybody sick at work today, so total madhous ensued. Fielded molti calls. Enh. At least made good number of sales. Quotas all reached. Talk time down to four minutes twelve seconds, and a grand total of 5 seconds of "not ready" time (essentially like hitting the pause button on a video game, except the timer keeps running). All in all, v. good day.
RE much fun. Almost got swallowed by giant zombie shark. Reminiscent of Pete almost becoming shark bait in Deadlands. Highlights included Akane hotrodding with nifty motorcycle (Dugati, I think, or something similar), and Carrie hauling herself, sopping wet (in white hospital clothes, looking rather like a contestant in a military wet t-shirt contest) into one of the finer restaurants of Mont St.-Michel.
Molested Ann's cats. Was fun.
Moving tomorrow. All good. Looking forward to it. Did more packing tonight, will finish in AM.
