And the best villains are still Nazis. Which is why it was much fun yesterday to squish one with a hospital gurney in RC's game.

Have to get to work. Am fried. Don't know how I'll get through the next four days of work without any major amount of sleep. Date tonight, Resident Evil Saturday, washer & dryer Sunday morning, and what are the odds I'll be able to get to bed early Sunday? Ick.

I think this is the only good part of having fewer games in my life from now on: more sleep.

I'll just have to sleep all day Tuesday.

"Another Saturday night..."

Okay, well, it's Friday and I do have somebody, so I guess it doesn't really apply. I still like Cat Stevens, though.

Day was tiring. Need to get more sleep. Work was same as usual, with the exception that there was a mistake in my paycheck. They paid me too much, which was cause for rejoicing until I was informed I'd be getting a matchin pay cut next time. Oh well.

Got minorly rapped on the knuckles for receiving personal email at worl. Oh well again. They weren't super pissed. Just a friendly tip to lay off the emailing, even if I only do it during my breaks. I think it overloads the server or something.

Got an Italian guy on the phone today who kind of made me think of Stefano. At least, he had the kind of accent I always imagined Stefano having. Very Godfather, but louder.

Saw Scorpion King with Poms. Was regrettable, but fun. Sadly, they took it a tad more seriously than the last two Mummy movies, and that was far too seriously for its own good. The dialogue was atrocious, and I stand by my judgement that not only could the movie have stood on its own without the dialogue, it would have greatly benefitted from the omission.

Still, I went in with low expectations, so I wasn't disappointed. In fact, I was very impressed with The Rock's hairdo. Wish I had hair like that...

Dinner at Mexicali Rosas was fun, although the Upside Down Volcano (a drink involving lime, 7up and grenadine) didn't erupt the way it was supposed to. Both Poms and I agreed it was very anticlimactic.

My mother is once again furious with me. Right now she's pretending it's because I've been going to bed too late, and she's being horrendously passive–aggressive about the whole thing, but really I know it's because I haven't been home for dinner in three consecutive nights and won't be home tomorrow night either. Granted, I can see where she's coming from, seeing that she's alone in the apartment, but frankly I don't feel that responsible for her that her lack of a social life is going to prevent me from seeing my friends and going on a date with my boyfriend.

She needs a life. Badly. Anyone know any lonely 50+ people who aren't insane and are willing to put up with a nice but slightly obsessive and passive–aggressive Romanian lady? ;)

Off to bed. Am looking forward to Resident Evil game tomorrow. So much plotting, so little time.
