The beginning of a loooong day

mousmeMother is furious with me, again.
Seems I never told her about the washer & dryer. Translation: she wasn't paying attention when I told her. Then she changed her story and said she had specifically forbidden me to bring the appliances here.
Apparently there's a handyman coming to renovate the garage, and he won't be able to work with them there.
In her characteristic MU manner, she then switched into attack mode and lit into Firewillow, of all people, claiming that she was manipulating me and walking all over me and why don't I have friends my age, etc etc. Attacking me is one thing, but going after my friends is another entirely, so I'm afraid the rest of the "conversation" went downhill from there.
The long and the short of it is that I have to have the appliances gone by Tuesday. Hope I can reach Poms and organise this by tonight, otherwise it'll get messy.
Stupid MU. I don't get why she has to use my friends as a weapon in order to show me what a horrible, inadequate, ungrateful and bad, bad daughter I am. She doesn't care one way or the other about my friends: they're just a means to an end. She likes them fine, but when it suits her purposes she'll extend her claws and transform them into raging demons to prove that I lack judgement and character and backbone.
Best Passive–Aggressive Argument Award: "This Ann may seem like a nice person to you, but I'm just telling you what it looks like from the outside, from an objective point of view. I'm not going to stop you if that's how you feel about it."
Hah. Like she has an objective bone in her body. Not to mention that when she's in a good mood, she's always going on about what a good influence Firewillow has been.
It just makes me want to scream and run in circles and eat the carpet, I'm so frustrated.
