Not from today, but I forgot to post these at the time.


ADD!Supervisor: "Good job on [$thing] everyone!"

Anglo!Coworker: "Gee, thanks. Do we get cake?"

ADD!Supervisor: *grins* "Maybe."

Me: "THE CAKE IS A LIE!"

Excitable!Puppy & Geeky!Coworker: *collapse in hysterical giggles*

ADD!Supervisor & Anglo!Coworker: *give me an identical "buh?" look*

Me: "Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean there isn't an invisible demon about to eat your face."

Excitable!Puppy & Geeky!Coworker: *stop breathing due to hysterics*



And THAT'S how you can tell who the gamers are in your work place. I enjoy doing this far too much. It's almost always with ADD!Supervisor, too, because he walks RIGHT into the set-ups.


ADD!Supervisor: "Okay, everyone, POP QUIZ! Someone calls in with a bomb threat to the building. WHAT DO YOU DO?"

Me: "I waste it with my crossbow!"

Geeky!Coworker: *snerk*

ADD!Supervisor: *glares* "No, seriously."

Me: "Uh, kill it and take its treasure?"

ADD!Supervisor: "Come on, be serious, here. I'm trying to brainstorm."

Geeky!Coworker: "You forgot to roll the body and check for traps."

ADD!Supervisor: "I give up."

Me: *to Geeky!Coworker* "How much XP you think that was worth?"

Actually, my job is pretty freaking awesome. I get along with my coworkers, and even when we're not geeking out we're usually having a pretty good time.

Excellent. For a while I was starting to feel a little isolated at work, but now I have a few buddies with whom to geek out. It's nice.
